Food Pantry – Beginning November 10

Beginning November 10, there will be brown paper sacks available in the lobby with a list of items for our food pantry. Bless families in need this holiday season by filling a sack and returning it to the lobby any time during the month of November. Click here for more information about our Food Pantry.

Blessing Teen Parents – November 12, 6:00pm

BTP provides a Christian environment where teen parents can connect with each other and find respite from the difficulties of teen parenting. We encourage and support them to complete high school and continue their education and training. We also provide opportunities for them to seek and ask questions about life and faith. This monthly event has pizza, games, raffle tables and take aways that provide a fun and relaxing environment for busy moms. Baby daddies are welcome as well; after pizza they can play basketball to work out the stresses of the day. We also want to love on those babies so there is a full nursery available.

ReMake SlideRemake: Women’s Event – November 15, 7:00PM-9:00pm

ReMake is a night of fellowship, a DIY project, and a devotion for all the women at Valley View. It is designed to connect women of all ages, providing an opportunity for us to gather and grow together. The cost is $5 and you can register in the lobby. We are asking you to bring your favorite snack to share (because food always makes time with friends even more fun!). We also will be partnering with our Thanksgiving Dinner outreach, providing food items to make this Thanksgiving a special day for many families in our church as well as in our community.

ConnectCONNECT Wednesday Nights – 7:00pm-8:15pm

Join us for Connect: Wednesday Nights each Wednesday during the school year. Here’s a little bit about what’s happening this semester:

Women’s Bible Study – Here at Valley View, we strive to be a community of women who inspire and challenge one another to intentionally love others for Christ. This semester, we will be going through a Bible Study by Beth Moore called Wising Up. This study on Proverbs will challenge you to become a woman of wisdom. There is no cost for this study and no homework to complete. You are welcome to join any time, so come enjoy time with other women while diving deeper into Scripture.

Men’s Bible Study – The Men’s Ministry exists to draw men into a close personal relationship with God through fellowship, instruction, and a faithful outpouring of service. We are about making disciples of Jesus. This semester, we will study the book of Job and learn to see God’s mercy through difficult circumstances as we discuss what it means to be a man of God.

Student Ministry – Valley View Student Ministry exists to help Middle School and High School students connect to God and to the world around them! Join us on Wednesday nights for a time of teaching and small group discussion that really allow the students to dig deeper into God’s Word.

KidzView – VVCC KidzView Ministry serves Kindergarten – 5th grade children. KidzView exists to SHOW God’s love to all children, to help children KNOW the truth of God’s Word, and to encourage children to GROW in service, obedience and faith. On Wednesday nights, children will learn God’s Word in small group settings through Bible study, prayer time, games and worship.

preView – Our preView ministry is for children ranging from Birth – Pre-K. We try to disciple young minds and make them more like Christ. During Connect Wednesday Nights, children enjoy a time of relevant Bible teaching and fun!
