Easter Sunday Services – Sunday, April 20 – 9:30am & 11:00am
Easter is a weekend of contrasts. Life and death. Betrayal and forgiveness. The ultimate sacrifice and the greatest triumph. Join us for Easter at Valley View to find out why this pivotal moment in history still matters in your life today and to celebrate the ultimate victory. At our Easter Service, you will experience uplifting music, a message that applies to you and your life, and a chance to meet people who are just like you. We have excellent children’s programming for Birth-5th Grade during both services – there will be hosts at each entrance who can direct you to each age-appropriate area.
ELEMENTARY BAPTISM CLASS – Sunday, April 6 – 9:30am
Has your child been asking about baptism? Do you think he/she is ready to make a decision for Christ? Our Elementary Baptism Class is the place to come for answers! Parents and children will learn together through discussion and hands-on activities.
Baby Dedication Class – Wednesday, April 30 – 7:00-8:15pm
The Baby Dedication Class will include information on raising Godly children and how to join with the church to accomplish this goal. This class will be followed by a Baby Dedication Breakfast Event on Saturday, May 3rd at 9:30-11:00am and a Baby Dedication acknowledgement in front of the church on Sunday, May 4th. Register for Baby Dedication by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join us for Connect: Wednesday Nights each Wednesday during the school year. Here’s a little bit about what’s happening this semester:
Adult Bible Study – All of our adults will gather together in the Worship Center to dive deeper into Scripture. You will be encouraged and challenged by various speakers each week. It is a great time to grow in your relationship with God.
Student Ministry – Valley View Student Ministry exists to help Middle School and High School students connect to God and to the world around them! Join us on Wednesday nights for a time of teaching and small group discussion that really allow the students to dig deeper into God’s Word.
KidzView – VVCC KidzView Ministry serves Kindergarten – 5th grade children. KidzView exists to SHOW God’s love to all children, to help children KNOW the truth of God’s Word, and to encourage children to GROW in service, obedience and faith. On Wednesday nights, children will learn God’s Word in small group settings through Bible study, prayer time, games and worship.
preView – Our preView ministry is for children ranging from Birth – Pre-K. We try to disciple young minds and make them more like Christ. During Connect Wednesday Nights, children enjoy a time of relevant Bible teaching and fun!
The women of Valley View will gather each Tuesday morning 9:30am-Noon for a time of Bible Study and fellowship. We will be walking through Gideon: Your Weakness, God’s Strength by Priscilla Shirer. This study will encourage us to recognize our weaknesses as an opportunity for God to provide His strength in our lives. As we study Gideon’s life we will also be blessed to deepen our relationships with other women.
We meet before work on Tuesday mornings at 6:00am to study “33 – A Man & His Design.” Our goal is to provide timeless truths and practical insights on how we can live to be the men God intended for us to be. We want to foster a movement of men who are committed to follow the courageous footsteps of Jesus; men who will reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously and invest eternally. While this study may not be the most convenient, perhaps that is an appropriate first step as being the man God created you to be will never be convenient.
