It’s Not Too Late

As our Connect evenings come to a close, I was reflecting on this busy year.  God has blessed our Wednesday night programming to the point where we are overflowing with precious children from infants through graduating seniors.  We have over 200 kids on a regular basis for Connect.

One of our biggest areas of growth is with the SOS kids from the Frankford Townhomes.  We now pick up on a regular basis around 40 kids (3 bus loads full!) and some moms.  Along with that growth, we now have around 20 kids from the neighborhood that walk to the church for Connect.  It is amazing to see the activity downstairs.  We easily feed around 100 people with the kids, our volunteers and their families as well.  Anyone is welcome to come at 5:30pm and experience this time of fellowship and food.  Please feel free to visit on May 14th or May 21st (our last two Connect times for this semester). It only takes making one connection for kids to know they are truly loved, and don’t underestimate that God could use you to facilitate that change!

Thank you to all of those who have been helping this year.  You are such a blessing to the kids. How awesome that they get to see God’s love exemplified through the actions of the church. Have a blessed week.
