New Elective Beginning September 28

In ancient times disciples of a rabbi were encouraged to learn as much as they could from their teacher.  An ancient Jewish proverb even says, “Follow the rabbi, drink in his words, and be covered with the dust of his feet.”  This proverb came from the observation that some disciples followed so closely that they would be covered with the dust kicked up by their rabbi’s feet.

Beginning Sunday, September 28th, join us for a five week elective entitled “In The Dust of The Rabbi”.  We invite you to hear from teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan as he explains what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus.

Start Date:  September 28th
Time:  11:00am

Location:  Room 230
