The change of seasons is always exciting to me. With each new season comes weather changes, new holidays to celebrate, new activities to participate in, and new colors to enjoy. I especially love the Fall because of the anticipation of cooler weather, pumpkin-scented candles, and the excitement of spending time with family over the holidays.
I am amazed and thankful when I sit back and think about how God created our world. Not only did He create the different seasons, the different types of weather, beautiful mountains, and huge oceans, but He also created the intricate details inside each one of us! One of my favorite verses of the Bible is from Psalm 139. In verses 13 and 14 it says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
The children in preView have been learning about Creation and how to thank God for the things that He’s given to us. They have learned that God made the world, God made animals, and that God made each one of them. It is my prayer that every child at Valley View realizes they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that God of the universe loves them deeply.
