LifeGroup Celebrations

This past month we offered sign ups to those who were interested in joining a LifeGroup at Valley View.  The sign ups went really well and several great stories have been shared with us.  Allow me to celebrate a few of those stories with you.

New Leader Success Story:  Laura Rogers, a student at Pioneer Bible Translators, just stepped into the role of leading a LifeGroup of six women this past September.  Being a new leader is always hard, but one person in her group said, “Laura is a natural leader and teacher.  Everyone in our group is blessed by her each week.”

New Attendees Get Connected:  Kevin and Elizabeth Westbrook have been at Valley View only a few months, but are already fully engaged.  They recently joined Mike Haven’s/Terry Chaney’s LifeGroup and have immediately made an impact on it.  Mike Havens shared with me, “Kevin and Elizabeth’s transparency has challenged us all to be a little more open about where we are with God.”

New Study Being Implemented:  Scott Hamilton implemented a study entitled, “Gospel Project: A God-Centered Worldview.”  This non-dvd study has helped to take this group a little deeper in their conversation with one another and their relationship with God.

These are only a few of the stories that have taken place in our LifeGroups, but there are many more to come.  If you are interested in being in a group at Valley View, please don’t hesitate to contact our Discipleship Minister, Phillip Holland, at!
