The Persecuted Church

November is International Pray for the Persecuted Church Month.

There’s been a lot of news lately covering persecution – these are not reasons to become discouraged or fearful, but opportunities to pray! God is always faithful to do mighty works in the midst of troubling times, and He has proved that to be true of Himself over and over through many years of Church persecution and growth.

Spend some time in the next few weeks reading through the book of Hebrews – especially chapters 12 and 13. These chapters can inform our theology on persecution, remind us to live every moment with our end goal in mind, and encourage us to do so with strength, peace and joy!
